THIS PROJECT BECAME URGENT BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS ATTEMPT…
AIM:
A client must be able to add a product to cart and than insert only some basic fields found in the registration form to either login or register in the OPC, no shipping or payment are needed only adding comments to each products chosen, and some other fields stated below, than a last review, and submission of the order, this shop is used for inquiries mostly, not really for sales as the sales are handled by another customed magento module.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Some of this was started by another programmer, revert is possible.
–ONE—
Make the OPC full width, since left column was taken out and change the adress filling form when not registered to the registration form (Added three fields there too), keeping same required field as reg form.
–TWO–
If registered and not logged in, insert standard login info and go right to shipping tab with new fields
If registered and logged in, skip the adress drop down, and or the adresse filling form as it is not needed for us and go to right to shipping tab with new fields.
–THREE–
Since we are using FREE SHIPPING…
Use this tab to add text fields to every chosen products so customer can leave product related comment. Also the addition of 4 others text based fields and date picker for the entire order:
Called location (TextBox), #Guest (TextBox), Date with date picker
and General Information (MemoBox).
using FREE SHIPPING as a more detail tab they need to be inserted in the review tab as well for a last check by the client.
Should also be visible and modifyable in the Admin orders and appear in the client orders history tab, which is the purpose of this mod…

I am looking for a magento guru that is willing to develop a lot of modules, creating a long term relationship.. ( 1-2 years of dev planned)
Magento should be spared as much as possible, and if altered, modified files must be identified at the end for site replication.
