I need someone who has worked with Wordpress and Magento before. If you cannot show Magento experience don’t bother because I won’t choose you, unless you can show that you’re very familiar with the Zend Framework.

This first project consists in the creating of a block in Magento that will display the most popular blogs from Wordpress. Please see the attached image. The block will load the blogs title, a brief description, the writer’s username and his avatar (if possible).

Wordpress and Magento are integrated using Lazzymonks Wordress Magento extension. (http://www.magentocommerce.com/extension/296/lazzymonks-wordpress-integration)
The integration is already done in my site - but you’d need to do the integration on your own development environment as you won’t have access to my final site.

Once you’ve finished with the block - you’d show me what you’ve done and I’ll verify. Once I’m satisfied with it, I’ll pay you and then you’d deliver the block. Free Support is expected if any bugs or anything wrong is found.

-about the programmer –
I’m looking for a new programmer who can work with me on various projects. I require this programmer to be reliable and be online many hours a day. I have a lot of projects going on and need someone who I work with.

Most of the communication will take place via IM and Email. I need someone preferably from Vietnam - as the Time zone is very close to mine.

You require Experience in:
- Zend PHP Framework
- JS Libraries (Prototype and Scriptaculous)
- Magento Ecommerce
- Have a Good understanding of the English Language - I’m actually looking for a new programmer because the one I have is becoming really frustrating due to his Medium English level.

There’s a lot of work for the chosen programmer - but obviously I’d need to test you with few projects and if everything goes well, we’d continue working together.
