Online Auction Website - Fully Function - Pro Only

Hi all,
We are looking for a brand new from scratch, coding for an online auction website.
This company will soon have a physical head office, so we are serious about our site, we ideally want to run the beta version of a fully functional site by the year end.
Ideally stay as far away as you can from eBay, i hate eBay, its too complicated to use, so it puts me off, on the other hand, i found a wonderful site, called trademe.co.nz, even their competitor zillion.co.nz, and oztion.com.au is not bad either, but these are some good sites and design and functionallity i inspire and hope for my site to have.
I also want a unique and innovative auction business model, not just the usual. So any new features you can think of, feel free to add.
Propose to me the features on the user side and on the admin side.

The code needs to be error free, so the project is only done after a certain testing period; which is when the final amount will be transferred, not before!!!
