Cubecart 4 - No Prods In Cat Nov 12, 2008
Hi,
I’m looking for somebody to do a quick and clean tweak to my Cubecart 4 installation. Currently this store has 3 different ways of displaying products, it uses viewCat.tpl / viewProd.tpl for the Wine, viewCat_4.tpl / viewProd_4.tpl for the Hampers and viewCat_5.tpl / viewProd_5.tpl for the Art Gallery. This is just informing you of the structure! The wine section is what I need edited.
What I want is for the links of the Wine categories in the wine section to be stripped of their link if they (and ALL their sub-categories) have no products. This way I can style the productless categories a faded colour font without a link so customers will know they cannot enter here as there are no products. (wineshop1wanted.jpg and wineshop2wanted.jpg)
I do know that there is an option to hide categories that have no products from the Admin General Settings. This is not an option for me as I use categories to display information pages also, so these would be hidden if I did this.
