We are looking for a system/clone to BaseCampHQ.com or activeCollab, or dotProject.

dotProject is a little to administrative or internal use oriented, BaseCampe and activeCollab are closer to what we are looking but do not provide the exact features of we are looking for.

Ideally, activeCollab is the closest, and could even be a base of where to start.

We are looking for a system that allows us to post projects under the clients accounts, and post information about the status of the current project or tasks, wether its started, pending, completed, open/closed type of thing. So this way our clients can “post” requests for changes or work, and be able to upload files if needed, this way when a request is made we get notification of the request and respond to it in there system and mark the request as “active, pending or whatever the status” this way, we can collaborate on projects/tasks for our clients and they can constructively SEE the status of there work being performed and submit new inquiries.
