My company k12savings uses netsuite. We sell used books and frequently run out of certain titles we are interested in adding a “notify me when in stock” link on the item template. This would then grey box the screen and show a form to enter name and email. This would submit to a Suitelet and create a lead record with an associated “item alert” custom record. We would run a script that would detect item receipts and send an email to the customers on the notification list when an item was in stock.
